St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola (16) runs for yards after the catch against the Seattle Seahawks during the third quarter at CenturyLink Field. / Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Danny Amendola has only been a member of the Boston community for a month, but the wideout, who signed a five-year, $31 million deal with the New England Patriots last month, is already pledging his support.

Amendola only played in 11 games with the Rams in 2012, but his 63 catches would have raised $6300. In 2010, Amendola's last injury-free season, he caught 85 passes. With Tom Brady delivering him the ball in 2013, there's a good chance he'll be writing a nice check at the end of the year.
