The interactive "global selfie" contains more than 30,000 photos. / NASA

On Earth Day in April, NASA asked people around the world, "Where are you right now?" More than 50,000 people responded across social media.

A month later, NASA has pulled more than 30,000 of those images into an interactive mosaic that resembles the planet.

The mosaic, hosted by GigaPan, is a zoomable, 3.2.-gigapixel image that people can scan and explore.

It's also a celebration of NASA Earth Science's big 2014. It's launching five missions into space this year.
