President Obama lands in Arkansas. / Susan Walsh, AP

Another state down -- only five to go.

President Obama on Wednesday made his first trip to Arkansas since taking office, the 45th state he has visited as chief executive.

The five states remaining, according to record keeper Mark Knoller of CBS News: Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, South Carolina, and Utah.

Obama traveled to Arkansas -- the home state of Democratic predecessor Bill Clinton -- to tour tornado damage in the central part of the state.

The Arkansas stop came en route to California, where Obama will spend three days at campaign fundraisers and other presidential events.
