A time-lapse video shows the Fenway Park model being built Lego brick by Lego brick. / LegoLand Discovery Center

Just in time for today's opening day at Fenway Park in Boston comes this cool time-lapse video, which shows an exact Lego replica of the famous stadium, built brick by brick over 450 hours. Watch it all above.

It took 28,000 Lego bricks and 18 days. Fenway Park will get the 68-pound model Sunday during the grand opening of its Kids Nation Clubhouse, a play area in the park.

The Lego creation includes 800 fans in the seats, the Pesky Pole, the Green Monster and a concourse underneath the stands. Master builder Neville Smith even put himself and a friend in the stands, along with famous characters. What's with those long, gray tubes you can see in the video? They provided ventilation to help adhesive dry as builders kept gluing more and more Lego bricks.

The model will be part of Miniland when the LegoLand Discovery Center opens in Boston on May 23.
