A playground / Jonathan E Bachman for USA TODAY

A three-year-old girl in Texas was expelled from her day care for saying the s-word.

The toddler said the word in front of the classroom and a couple of other kids repeated the word, WOAI-TV in San Antonio reports.

The director of the Jubilee Child Development Center, Alissa Blankenship, told WOIA that the school has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to curse words.

Mother Cassandra Wright said the day care went too far. Her daughter didn't know what the word meant, she told the station.

Wright also said she didn't know where her daughter heard the word.

"I do not use that word," Wright told WOIA.
