Passengers shared photos on social media after a US. Airways flight from Philadelphia aborted its takeoff when the nose gear failed.

All 149 passengers and five crewmembers were evacuated safely from the Airbus A320, and no major injuries were reported.

"So my plane just crashed," tweeted @han_horan at 5:35 p.m. Thursday.

The next photo was a selfie with the jet in the background.

Dennis Fee posted a photo on his Facebook page of passengers evacuating the jet.

Most likely the tire blew, causing the nose gear of the jet to collapse while it was moving down the runway, said Victoria Lupica, spokeswoman for Philadelphia International Airport.

The flight was headed to Fort Lauderdale, and passengers were booked on other flights.
