Jimmy Fallon and Rahm Emanuel were freezing for a reason Sunday during Chicago's annual Polar Plunge, which raises money for the Special Olympics.

Fallon's expressions were priceless as he fled the frigid water.

The comedian took a dip in a full suit and tie into Lake Michigan to fulfill a promise to Chicago's mayor.

In return for Fallon taking the plunge, Mayor Emanuel said on Twitter that he would appear on The Tonight Show.

Fallon and Emanuel have been exchanging jokes and challenges about the event via social media over the last month.
