President Obama will try to rally his political troops in a Feb. 28 speech at the Democratic National Committee's winter meeting.

Obama will address the general session of the DNC's meeting, which takes in place in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 27-28.

"During the meeting, members will gather to discuss Democratic Party business and hear from President Obama and other Democratic Party leaders," the DNC said in a statement.

One major topic for the Democrats: Efforts to hold the majority in the Senate after the November elections.
