Older people sometimes have a little trouble with newer technology - even presidents.

During his visit to a Maryland middle school on Tuesday, President Obama sought to use an iPad to film video of a classroom and members of his entourage.

Just one problem: He didn't press the record button.

When a student pointed it out, Obama said: "Oh, I haven't been recording this whole time?" and told the student: "I thought you already had it on record."

After the button was pressed, Obama resumed filming.
