RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Police say two Southern California girls who vanished during a weekend sleepover have been found near their hometown.

Riverside police Sgt. David Amador says in a statement Monday night that 12-year-old Raylynn Bolt and 14-year-old Diana Tourdot were found by police in San Bernardino, about 15 miles away from Riverside.

Police did not say anything about the girls' condition or provide any other details about the girls or their reappearance, saying only that they would be returned to Riverside and interviewed by detectives there.

Police said earlier that the two girls most likely ran away during the Saturday night sleepover at one of their homes.
