In this photo provided by the U.S. Army Golden Knights, Former President George H.W. Bush is shown during his free fall with U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team member, Sgt. 1st Class Mike Elliott, as he made his entrance to his presidential museum during a rededication ceremony in College Station, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007. / Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Mcdaniel, AP

He's done enough skydiving.

So it seems only natural that former President George H.W. Bush would be made an honorary member of the Blue Angels.

The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, announced its newest member Friday on Twitter, including a team picture featuring the 89-year-old ex-President.

Note Bush's wildly colored socks.

Bush, a Navy pilot during World War II, made parachute jumps to celebrate his 75th, 80th, and 85th birthdays,

He turns 90 on June 12. Who knows?
