WASHINGTON -A woman gave birth to twins three seconds apart, with one born in 2013 on New Year's Eve and the other born in 2014 on New Year's Day at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in the District of Columbia.

A girl, Lorraine Yaleni Begazo, was born at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday. Her little brother, Brandon Ferdinando Begazo, arrived at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. The babies and their mother, Yaleni Begazo, were doing well.

The father of the twins, Warren Begazo, says it's been a long time since he changed diapers but he's ready for it. He's happy his older son, Dylan, now has siblings.

Lorraine checked into the world at 6 pounds, 4 ounces while her little brother weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces.

Correction: A previous video that accompanied this article listed incorrect weights for the twins.
