Burt Reynolds has spent the weekend in a Florida hospital.
The actor, 76, was dehydrated and suffering from flu symptoms when he went to the hospital, then was transferred to its intensive care unit, his rep Erik Kritzer told E! on Friday.
By Saturday night, Reynolds' fever had gone down as his overall condition improved, Kritzer told CNN. But he was still in the ICU.
"He is feeling better," Kritzer told CNN, adding that he predicted Reynolds would be released Monday from the hospital.
In 2010, the Deliverance star had a heart bypass operation. And in 2009, Reynolds spent time in a Florida rehab center after treatment for painkiller abuse following back surgery.
