A 24-year-old man was arrested Sunday after scaling New York's Brooklyn Bridge and taking photos with his iPhone.

Yaroslav Kolchin reached the top of a bridge tower and walked back and forth on the landing before he climbed down and was arrested, according to the New York Police Department.

No one was injured during the climb. Kolchin faces charges of reckless endangerment, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct in hazardous conditions.

Kolchin's arrest comes a couple of weeks after two German artists claimed responsibility for replacing the bridge's U.S. flags with white flags last month.

The Berlin-based artists said the stunt was to honor the death of the bridge's German-born American engineer, John Roebling, who died on July 22, 1869.
