Darth Vader in a scene from "This Is Madness: The Star Wars Character Tournament." / YouTube

Use the VOTE, Luke?

It could be a new campaign slogan for the upcoming presidential election.

Americans say the masked Darth Vader of Star Wars is more popular than President Obama, Congress and all of the 2016 presidential candidate hopefuls, according to the Washington Post's Wonkblog.

The news organization compared the favorability of political leaders with Star Wars' characters, and as of Wednesday, Americans were OK with backing the fictional villain for the Oval Office instead of Hillary Rodham Clinton or Jeb Bush.

From the WaPo:

These numbers suggest that if "Star Wars" were real and Darth Vader decided to enter the 2016 presidential race, he'd be the immediate front-runner.
