Located at the southern edge of Ashland, the Country Club of Ashland’s scenic, rolling land sets the stage for a memorable round of golf at this private facility. This beautifully groomed and challenging 18 hole golf course is accredited with membership in the U.S.G.A.-the only fully accredited course in Ashland County.
Designed in 1923 by legendary architect Willie Park, Jr., a famous golf course designer in the twenties and thirties, the 6,699-yard layout plays to a par 72 from the blue tees and features many of the design elements one would expect to find on a classic-style course.
The fairways are generously lined with native hardwoods. A creek weaves its way through much of the property, adding both strategic and aesthetic appeal to many of the holes.
In addition to the beautiful golf course, the Country Club of Ashland has a banquet facility that can seat 100 people and uses an outside tent for bigger outings and weddings in the summertime. Other amenities include a fully stocked pro shop, a full-length pool, tennis courts, locker rooms, driving range and putting green.
The Country Club of Ashland is a member of the United States Golf Association, the Ohio Golf Association and the Greater Cleveland Golf Association.
